Privacy notice.

This notice explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. In practice there is one place where you give us personal data: the enquiry form on the Contact page. We use it to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation, and for nothing else.

Scope

What this notice covers.

This notice applies to enochrefraction.com and to the enquiry form on it. It does not cover other websites operated by Beijing Enoch Corporation, or any conversation that continues by email, WhatsApp or telephone after you contact us — those follow the same principles, but this page describes the website.

enochrefraction.com is the refraction-room furniture range of ENOCHTEC. This notice applies to enochrefraction.com only and does not extend to enochtec.com.

Controller

Who is responsible for your data.

Beijing Enoch Corporation, trading internationally as ENOCHTEC, is responsible for the information collected through this website.

What we collect

The form, field by field.

The enquiry form asks for the following. Only the first two are required; everything else is optional and exists so we can answer you properly.

  • Full name — so we know who we are replying to.
  • Work email — where we send the reply. This is also set as the reply-to address on the notification we receive, so a reply goes straight back to you.
  • Company or practice — to understand whether you are a distributor, a clinic, a hospital or a project contractor.
  • Country or region — this determines voltage, plug type, documentation and shipping, so it changes the quotation.
  • WhatsApp number — only if you would rather we reach you there.
  • Buyer type — distributor, clinic, hospital purchasing, project contractor or other.
  • Models you are considering and quantity — to price and check availability.
  • Target timing — to tell you honestly whether the lead time fits.
  • Your requirement — the free-text description, including anything you choose to tell us about the room or the instruments.

We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any special category of personal data anywhere on this website. Please do not put such information in the free-text field.

Your browser also sends technical information that any web server receives — IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested. This is used to serve the site and to keep it secure, not to build a profile of you.

Where it goes

What happens after you press send.

A submitted enquiry does two things, and only these two:

  • It is saved in this website’s own administration area, so the enquiry is not lost if an email fails to arrive.
  • It is emailed to us at sales@enochtec.com. The message is sent from info@enochrefraction.com through Titan’s outgoing mail service, with your email address set as the reply-to.

Submissions that fail validation are not saved and not sent. We do not share enquiries with anyone outside ENOCH, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information. Where a quotation requires us to confirm a configuration with the manufacturing partner, we pass on the technical requirement — model, configuration, quantity, destination market — not your personal contact details, unless you ask us to introduce you directly.

Spam protection

Google reCAPTCHA is used on the form.

To stop automated spam, the enquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 and a hidden field that only automated scripts fill in. reCAPTCHA runs in the background and does not ask you to solve a puzzle.

reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information from your browser and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service. Google is required to be named here as a condition of using the service.

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies.

This website does not set advertising or profiling cookies. What is set:

  • Google reCAPTCHA sets cookies and reads browser storage as part of its spam scoring, on every page where the form appears.
  • WordPress may set a session cookie if you are a logged-in administrator. Ordinary visitors are not logged in and do not receive one.
Processors

Who else handles the data.

We use a small number of service providers. They act on our instructions and only for the purposes above.

  • Hostinger — website hosting and backups.
  • Titan — outgoing mail for notifications sent from info@enochrefraction.com.
  • Google — reCAPTCHA spam scoring, as described above.
Retention

How long we keep an enquiry.

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months from the date of the enquiry and then deleted. Where an enquiry leads to an order, the related correspondence is kept for as long as contract and tax-record obligations require.

Backups taken by our hosting provider may hold a copy for a short period after deletion. Those backups are not searched or used for any other purpose.

Your choices

Access, correction and deletion.

Write to sales@enochtec.com and we will:

  • tell you what we hold about you,
  • correct anything that is wrong,
  • delete your enquiry, unless we are required to keep a record of a completed transaction,
  • stop contacting you.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Our legal basis for handling an enquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to a business request you initiated, and, where a contract follows, the performance of that contract.

International transfers

Your enquiry is read in China.

ENOCH is based in Beijing, China. An enquiry sent through this form is read and acted on there, which means information you send leaves your country. We say this plainly because for buyers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom it is a transfer outside that area, and you are entitled to know before you press send.

We keep such transfers to what the enquiry requires: your contact details and your stated requirement, held for as long as the retention section allows, used only to answer you and to prepare and fulfil a quotation.

Changes

If this notice changes.

If we change how enquiries are handled — for example by adding analytics, changing the mail provider, or setting a different retention period — we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.

Questions about your data?

Write to sales@enochtec.com and a person will answer. If you would rather ask before sending an enquiry, that is fine too.
